What to Expect When You Arrive

When you pull into our fully paved facility, here’s what happens next:

  1. Park near the front office and check in with a team member.
  2. We’ll help assess your material and direct you to the appropriate unloading area.
  3. If needed, our staff will assist with sorting or guiding your vehicle.
  4. Your materials will be weighed using our certified scales.
  5. We’ll process your payment based on current market rates.

How to Prepare Your Scrap Metal

Sort Materials Ahead of Time

To help speed up your visit, separate your scrap into ferrous and non-ferrous categories. Not sure what’s what? Try the magnet test:

  • If a magnet sticks, the metal is ferrous (contains iron).
  • If it doesn't stick, it's non-ferrous (copper, brass, aluminum, etc.).

Remove Hazardous Components

Please remove any fluids or restricted components from your items before arriving. For example:

  • Air conditioners must have Freon removed.
  • Batteries should be separated from other scrap.
  • Tanks or containers must be punctured and cleaned.
